*Review* Manwhore +1 by Katy Evans

Billionaire playboy? Check.
Ruthless businessman? Check.
Absolutely sinful? Check.
Malcolm Saint was an assignment. A story. A beautiful, difficult man I was supposed to uncover for a racy exposé.
I intended to reveal him, his secrets, his lifestyle—not let him reveal me. But my head was overtaken by my heart and suddenly nothing could stop me from falling. I fell for him, and I fell hard.
Malcolm Saint is absolute Sin, and I've become a hopeless Sinner.
Now that the assignment is over, Saint wants something from me--something unexpected--and I want this wicked playboy's heart. But how can I prove to the man who trusts no one that I’m worthy of becoming his plus one?

I received a copy of this story for an honest review.

Manwhore +1 starts right where Manwhore left off, with journalist Rachel Livingston paying the price for deceiving Malcom Saint over the course of her relationship. Can Rachel prove that though her motives for getting to know the mogul weren't pure, her love for him is?

What I Loved: Author Katy Evans does hurt and remorse between lovers like nobody's business. People screw up in relationships and the pain both Rachel and Saint emanate as they rebuild their relationship felt real and honest. Evans writing is emotionally rich and had me completely invested in Rachel and Saint finding their happy ever after. This was a fantastic follow-up to Manwhore. I recommend with zero reservations.

What I Didn't Love: Nada. I've already re-read it. Twice.

Favorite Quotes:

"Break me. As long as you're touching me. Shatter me. Use me. Just want me."

"They look at me with lust but never like I'm the spot where their sun rises and sets. I see a girl who didn't know what she was getting into with me. I see a girl I can't forget. What do you see when you look at me?"

"Weak men don't like strong men, they remind them of what they failed to be."

"You wanted your world to go still, stand still with me. I may be thirsty, ambitious; I'll charge out there, but this... what we have. Let's stand still here, you and me."

Manwhore +1 is not a standalone, you do  need to read Manwhore before jumping in. Both books are solid, so I recommend without reservation. Rachel and Saint's love story will continue in the novella Ms. Manwhore. I've already added it to me Goodreads TBR list, I can't wait.

Happy reading.
