*REVIEW* #Rev (GearShark #2) by Cambria Hebert

Trent Mask puts the REV in revolution.

A line has been drawn.

Indie vs Pro

Here at GearShark, we’re straddling that line to bring you exclusive coverage of what some have dubbed the war of racing.
Every war starts with a spark and ends in revolution.
Drew Forrester was the spark,
but his second-in-command is the REVolution.

What does it take to stand brave in the face of opposition?

resolve of steel…

Stubborn will…

And a heart that refuses to give up.

It isn’t just the drivers in this war.
The revolution is about more than just racing.
It’s about shattering labels and taking risks.

So we asked Trent Mask: Truth or Dare?

His answer?

Both.

The Hashtag Series by Cambria Hebert have been personal favorites of mine. So when Hebert announced she was going to expand the Hashtag universe and spin it off into a new series called GearShark I was thrilled. But wait – it was going to be M/M? It’s was going to involve two guys who I’d previously identified as straight. How was that going to work? It works because Hebert did what she does best and focused on friendship, self-discovery and real emotion. Labels be damned because love is love and love is what you get in the GearShark books.

Where #Junkie (GearShark Book #1) ripped my heart apart with leads Drew and Trent fighting their feelings and the ignorance of others, #Rev (GearShark Book #1) healed it with their personal acceptance and the love of each other and their true family. #Rev hit me straight in the feels so much so that I would say in the days after I finished the story I reread it at least 5 more times. It’s just that good.

Favorite Quote:

“He gave me something else with those painful words. Something I didn’t even know was missing. He was mine entirely now. He might have given me his heart before, but it wasn’t just his heart I wanted. I wanted the place I thought only I had inside me. That place that hid behind the heart. As tender as the heart was, this place was more so. A place so fragile only the heart could protect it.”

#Junkie (GearShark Book #1) does need to be read before hoping into #Rev (GearShark Book #2). Both books are 5 stars. You can’t go wrong with Drew and Trent’s love story. Don’t miss this one.

Happy reading.
